The thought that someone would think that is preferable to vag is insane to me. I can see where someone who had a previous section may not want to attempt a VBAC, I wouldn't myself, for the risk involved, but choosing to do it for sheer convienience or cosmetic reasons is not right.

I'd have a tummy tuck if he did them, in a HEARTBEAT. lol IF he were qualified to do one that is. I mean think about that, you have the baby, and while they are in there do some repair work, and no more surgery!
I think that VBAC's are safer than what general society wants us to believe they are (in most cases). This is the third c/s for me, third hospital and this is the only one i've encountered who WON"T allow VBAC's. I sincerely believe its a woman's choice overall.
I'm 36 weeks now and OMG the peri pain is killing me. JUST killing me. UGH. Not to mention the baby playing bouncy on my scar line/tissue SUCKS......
