Tips for Allergy Clinic Interview?!

I am trying to land a job at an allergy clinic for a phone triage/insurance information position. What kinds of things should I study up on for the interview? I have never worked in this role before (I've only done inpatient care and home care).

I can't imagine what you should study about; I am certain they will provide you with some training.

Study what you can re allergies I suppose (sounds obvious but many people don't even seem to do that b4 an interview). Also try to find out more about the company - is there a website you can view?

When you have the interview try to be relaxed (not slouched), and I always find that if you get on a personal level with the interviewers and make them laugh, it breaks the ice and the interview is easier.

This goes for all interviews, but is especially important for an allergy clinic... DO NOT smell of tobacco smoke, perfume/cologne, strongly scented deodorant, etc. They may ask what you think of working in an allergy clinic and/or why you want to. I worked at a different specialty clinic a couple years ago and they asked me those questions. They did not expect me to know a ton about the specialty, but everybody is different. Maybe do some basic online research about allergies: common types, triggers, basic treatment. Hope it goes well.
