Mayor Giuliani established this fund to ensure that coordinated, responsive, responsible and accountable support is available for families of the uniformed workers killed or injured in the attack - FDNY and its Emergency Medical Service Command; the NYPD; the Port Authority of NY and NJ and other government offices.
