Thank you for all you do

  1. I am in the "researching" stage of becoming a nurse (want to make sure that it's something I truly want to do before I dedicate a lot of time to it... hence why I have a BA degree in Journalism that I have yet to use in the five years since I graduated college! LOL). I have been reading a lot of posts, and from my own personal experience, I know how much nurses rock. So without trying to overgeneralize everyone (but I guess I still kinda am, LOL) thank you for always being a patient's advocate and treating us with the best care. You rock! *hugs*

What a nice post! Nurses everywhere will love you for it!

I hope that you will continue to consider nursing as a career. It's tough, demanding, frustrating... and I love it. I hope you do, too.

    Thank you.
I had an elderly couple stop me in the parking lot on my way into work a few weeks ago. The wife said,..."Miss,..oh miss,....thank you for what you do."
Great way to start a rough shift in the ER,..your words do matter!

Thank you so much for your kind words! After working a grueling 24 hour weekend shift with a patient from HELL, this means a lot!

I hope you enjoy being a nurse as much as I do! Yes, it's frustrating at times, but I couldnt see myself doing anything else.

Thanks for all your encouraging words... I am looking at schools in my area. I just can't thank nurses enough... a while ago I was really sick and the doctors couldn't figure it out, and a nurse talked to me and mentioned Celiac Disease... lo and behold... that's what it was! I would love to just be able to help change one persons life (and I never really felt like I was doing that proofreading newspapers at my prior job lol)
