Sleepless in the Cockpit

Nurses General Nursing

Just watched segment on Sixty Minutes about pilot fatigue. When asked why the airlines don't seem to care if pilots are tired and even fall asleep in the cockpit, the pilots said, because they're only concerned with the bottomline. Very interesting story - now if Sixty Minutes would only consider the nurse fatigue subject!

Your right, we have also seen shows about intern and resident fatigue, young people whose average age is about 30. The average of a RN working a double shift is 44, that is something to think about.

Thought the same thing.

Has anyone noticed if CBS runs a lot of ads from HMOs or health insurance companies?
