Shadowing

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hey guys guess what?

I get to shadow someone at the hospital on OB floor. I know that may not be much to some but that kinda excites me. This way I will know if RN is actually for me. :D

Shadowing is a great way to gain insight in nursing. Goodluck!

well that is wonderful. i hope this is a very good experience for you. enjoy it and be a sponge!

i have had several people shadow me over the yrs my son is the most recent one. he actually starts nuring program tommorrow.

i think it is a good thing to do it allows you to see first hand what it is really like. nothing like informed choice. good luck hope you like it.

Howdy yall

from deep in the heat of Texas

Shadowing is good program. None of my 7 kids went into nursing or anything medical.

doo wah ditty

I just spoke to a guy that does IV sedation on kids for certain procedures. Me and him got to talking and he said they needed a RN nurse that can sedate. I told him it would be nice when I got thru with my 2 years of programs that I could have that job. He offered me to come and visit and he would show me what he does...it seems like RN is going to be the right field for me cause everything is going into place. I just did not have the self-confidence in myself.

I really appreciate you guys and your wonderful words of wisdom. Thanks
