Rasmussen (Twin Cities, MN) NEW OPINIONS?

I've been working through the MANE curriculum, and if all had gone the way it should have, I would be beginning the RN program at one of the community colleges in the area (which shall remain nameless). Their communication has been poor and inconsistent, and I found out last week that my application was denied due to a clerical error regarding a transcript that each college says the other is responsible for not sending/receiving/recording correctly. All of this mess is now supposedly resolved and I really don't want to wait another semester to start the program at the community college. After all, who is to say that something won't happen and I might not get in the 1/16 group? So... I went ahead and attended the information session and had my transcripts evaluated at (Blaine campus) and it appears as though I would only have 5 quarters to receive my RN (ADN) there. I was so sure that this would be a great solution to my problem, and now I'm reading things here that are less than glowing recommendations. Input and opinions? Anyone with real experiences that you can share with me? It appears that they didn't used to be accredited, but now are? I don't want to enter a career ill-prepared, nor waste my time and money.

I posted something similar and have not received an answer yet :( Like you, I want to know about real experiences, new grads, current students. I hope someone answers soon. I start in July of this year. I'm in MN

Why not post your questions in the MN forum?

I'm new to the site and didn't realize that there was a MN forum. Thank you for the advice, I'll check that out right away!

I'm starting in July also, at the Blaine campus. Hope to hear something from someone who has some insight! Which campus are you attending?

I will try that..thanks! I didn't even know there was a MN forum
