Please say a prayer

Yesterday, a friend that I have only had the priveledge to know less than a month, was killed along with her 10yr old daughter, when a tractor trailer ran a red light. She was a wonderful nurse and mother of five. Her family needs some prayers today.

Thank all of you for your wonderful words and prayers!! It has been a stressful week for all of us here. I have been working extra shifts, and trying to grieve and help those who knew Trish longer than myself grieve as well. We are having special services for her at the hospital chapel and think that will give some closure.

We are opening a new ED on June 17th and dedicating a room to she and her daughter. I made a mistake when I said I only knew her less than a month. It was actually just short of two months, even so not very long at all. But, she truely touched my heart and we were fast friends. I was looking forward to getting to know her better.

Again thank you for all the prayers, I don't know what I would do without this board sometimes!!! Nurses are wonderful people!
