PALS, sync stable tach?

Nurses General Nursing

Published

My PALS book, 2011, tach with a pulse adequate perfusion, blue box 12, says..child doesn't respond to medication therapy, remains hemodynamically stable, best to consult a cardiologist before sync cardioversion.

I have been very lazy and watching PALS you-tube videos instead of reading the book. (This is my ????? at least tenth time recerting.) The PALS videos go to sync cardioversion if adenosine doesn't convert, no mention of "consider it.....get a pediatric consult"

So is synch cardioversion a go to intervention or a "consider" intervention?

And why does every time I tap the search icon on All nurses it takes me to the break room site? I did try to do my own research first?

And no this is not, does not fall under, do my homework for me! :)
