How Doctors Think by Jerome Groopman.
It is a doctor book rather than a nurse book but I'm enjoying it so much I wanted to share and this seemed the most logical place. I also think this thread is worth bumping up.

I LOVED this book when I first read it.
I've got to second this. Wonderful book - definitely a can't-put-it-down.
Not so nursing, but engrossing nevertheless: Just Here Trying To Save A Few Lives by Pamela Grim, MD (emergency medicine).

Last month, I read a fantastic novel by an RN. It is No Other Medicine by Gail Ghinga Hallas, RN. I downloaded it from Amazonto Kindle on my laptop. She can write and just knows nursing. I hate when non-nurses write about nurses. They don't get it.
In the book there were good and bad nurses, good and bad doctors - just like real life!
Her website says she is coming out with another book soon. I can't wait!
Disclosure: No, I don't know her.
