Maternity scrubs

Nurses General Nursing

OK, who knows the secret to this one??? I've googled 'til I'm blue in the face, but can't find any decent maternity scrubs that are cost-effective.

It seems like everywhere I look, I can only find maternity scrubs in yucky solids (raspberry??? egads!!) or they are so ridiculously expensive ($35+ for a top!!). No thanks!! I need these for an 11-week internship.....I don't want to spend more on scrubs than what I'll make!!! LOL

BTW - I tried a larger top to accomodate the belly... Um... that's not working either, since the 2x top was almost falling off of me at the shoulders!!

Can someone help me out of this dilemma?!?!?!

I dont know if you have looked at this site but they have maternity scrub tops for a little under $20....they are basic colors and are not that expensive...also, there are other maternity items for nurses too....go to

hope this helps.......sheri

Try jcpenney.com and look under uniforms.

http://www.medweardirect.com/ has them really cheap in addition to allheart.com, which has tops for 5.99 and bottoms for 6.99. I just got some from allheart.com, but they are plain. Perhaps you may find better luck with medweardirect.

Also, I suggest, if you can't find cheap print scrubs, just get some bright plain-colored scrubs. Good Luck.

Maybe a plain white maternity t-shirt and larger drawstring waist scrubs? I just matched the pants with a scrub jacket left unsnapped, and it looked fine. I really liked the drawstring waist because I could tie them above my belly.
