She is coming home tomorrow, she is still in her induction phase of chemo and we won't know till next week IF she is in remission. I have my fingers and toes crossed.
I had to leave school till next year to care for Maryanne but the good news is that I can start back where I left off, so I'll only have 6 months till I graduate.
Maryanne will see the Dr twice a week, and have to be hospitalized q 3 weeks for 3-5 days, also if she gets sick she'll need to go in. I apprecaite all the prayers that the posters here have given. I started a homepage for Maryanne that will be updated prn, so if anyone is interested, bookmark it.

I am glad for the update on your daughter. I will lift her up in my prayers for continued healing. She is beautiful, by the way. I am also going to pray for you...a mom in your situation needs prayers too. I am especially touched at how you have put your daughter's needs for care in front of your own schooling. You will make a wonderful nurse, I can tell.

Thanks everyone, she has been home since yesterday and so far so good. She can't climb the stairs any more, her counts are still so low, and the fact she's been in bed a month doesn't help. I make her try to climb them though to build strength and I stand behind her. I've been taking her BP, temp , pulse, and blood sugar with a glucometer, and doing her mouth care 4x a day. I've been taking Nursing notes as well, Dr says "keep a diary" LOL, little does he know, he'll have the PDR instead of a diary, I've been documenting EVERYTHING!!!
Everyone, keep praying, her bone marrow aspiration is Thursday to see if she's in remission.
