LVN Endorsement in San Diego

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hi All,

It's been a long time since I last posted but to bring you all up to date, I graduated from Austin Community College LVN program in May and had taken my boards Aug 15th in Texas, I had passed and I am officially a TX licensed LVN!! Well after taking my boards my fiances job relocated us to San Diego. So now I'm in the process of getting my license endorsed here. I was so excited to start my new career but now it's temporarily on hold for 8-12 weeks or longer! Financially I can't wait that long for the endorsement process to go through. Is there anywhere that you all know of in the La Jolla, Mira Mesa area that are hiring graduate/ pre-licensed nurses? I would appreciate any or all replies!!

Thanks Again!

Ouch! As a new-grad LVN in San Diego, your options are going to be very limited even with a license. :( When I worked in Texas, I worked with a bunch of BSN RNs from California who were unable to find work in their own state. Please don't shoot the messenger. I do wish you lots of luck.

Thank you for the reply Pangea! I actually got an interview on Monday for a psych pre-licensed nurse position! :DI will have to start off working the noc shift, but I'm just grateful to have this opportunity! I hope to do well on the interview and get the job!

That is REALLY good news. I hope you get it, too. :cat:
