kday (Kristina) had posted several things about her work environment in the OB/GYN discussions several months back and we came to find that employees and managers of her work area saw what she was writing and replied - Kristina felt that her anonomity was lost and was going to request a user name change. She did use that new user name for a while but even since that time - she has disappeared.

I used to correspond with Kristina in a more personal matter through email - I will email her and see if I can find out more.

OH MY GOD.

I heard from Kristina and it is NOT good at all. Basically she was being blackballed by her employers and they basically were threatening her and otherwise acting unprofessionally. She is seeking legal counsel.

I will email her back and tell her that you guys are looking for her and if you forward me your email addys, I will forward them to her.

She needs our support right now.

As I recall, Kday was about to change jobs. Has this unfortunate situation interfered with her ability to do so? If so, I'm terribly sorry for her. She seems so knowledgable and enthusiastic about OB nursing. I certainly hope someone recognizes that and gives her a fair chance to practice her profession. To keep her away from nursing would be a dis-service to her patients and her fellow nurses.

I am sorry to hear that Kday is having these problems. It's a shame that she can't even come here anymore, or if she does she has to do it anonymously, because of the idiotic behavior of others. This should be a place nurses feel safe to talk, vent, and share. Kinda makes me want to remove alot of personal info from my profile... I mean really, what if all of our bosses are here, lurking.

I'm not really looking for a personal email from Kday. My only hope is that she peeks in on us occasionally, and sees how concerned we are for her, how much we miss her, and that we hope she makes it back soon.

Was the legal trouble with her new or old bosses I wonder, and does she have a job right now?

Just posting on this board eventually people can figure out where you are and what hospital you work at. Wildtime was terrible for searching through old posts so he could tell everyone what hospital you worked at, and who you were talking about. I considered leaving and coming back as someone else too- but I think people would eventually figure it out.

Kday, if you need support or a venting session give me a shout.

That is just the most.....someone has been blackballed for having a mind here ? If so, and I don't doubt it after having worked with a few 'goodies', I say THEY are gutter people not professionals. They are the ones should be shown the door. Sick very sick.
