Is Nursing a Good Career for people with corrected CTS?

Hi, I am asking this question for a friend. She has had successful CTS surgery on both wrists, that corrected some pretty severe problems. She is interested in pursuing nursing, would CTS be an impediment to her? Is nursing a profession where her problems are likely to come back?

Thanks!

CTS? Careful using acronyms because we have multiple specialties and many nationalities using this forum.

Sorry! I mean Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I think she should talk with her Doctor about that. A lot depends on her particular history ... how serious her CTS was/is ... what type of nursing she gets into, .... etc. We can't give out medical advice on this site and we certainly can't judge how her wrists will be effected by nursing work. I wish her the best of luck, whatever she decides.
