Does anyone know how long does it take to apply and receive your RN license when moving from Illinois to Nevada? Thank you!

Hey cmed, I got my temporary license 2-3 weeks after applying and my permanent license 2 months after. The fingerprint and background check take awhile is what the NV BON told me.

Thanks for the reply ICUman. How's Vegas treating you? Where do you work? Last time we chatted you were about to get some per diem jobs through your recruiters. Thinking about making the move this summer and i'm trying to gather as many details as possible before that. Thanks again!!

I actually ended up getting a couple really great jobs. My pay tripled from what I use to make. It's awesome. I've done a lot of research on hospitals in the LV area and will be happy to help if you'd like to PM me or vice versa. Don't want to be too detailed here on the open forum for anonymity purposes.
