Lol... I agree about the free pens. Most importantly, I want it to be interactive and lively. Like people going home looking forward to next year's fair. Learn about your health while having a good time. I thought about having a theme this year and change the theme every year. Then again, the community we serve have more than one huge comorbidity.

Hey AN family. I have come in contact with the person in charge of planning the hospital health fair that they have every year. It is still fairly new and by new I mean two years old. I asked if I can assist in the planning for the next one and I was given a big fat "yes". I am super excited, but need help. This is what I am thinking so far:
1- at least two bouncy houses for the kids
2- the police department was involved last year and had a rock climbing wall and a horse for the kids to take rides on so definitely bring that back
3-maybe get the nutrition department involved with healthy snacks and quick lessons on diet for people with hypertension, diabetes, etc.
4-an activity for adults to compete in to get them moving
Any ideas? It's a community health fair so let me know what you've had in your fairs or anything that you wished you did. Thanks!
