Graduating in a year, maybe moving?

Hello

I'll be graduating next year, and I may possibly be moving from Michigan to Minnesota. I was wondering what I should do as far as the NCLEX. How do I find out if the license will transfer? Should I wait and take the exam in Minnesota? Can I do that if I didn't go to school there? Any help appriciated. Thanks!

It would be best if you know if you are going to move prior to your last semester. It is probably easier to take the test in the state you are going to be practicing in (no it does not matter what state you went to school in). I think it was much easier to take boards as quickly as possible after school was over though, so it depends how long after graduation you are planning to move. It is just much less hassle (and money) to take boards in the state you will be practicing than trying to transfer your license after the fact.

Good Luck!
