There are so many choices to make. If you're single & like to travel, there are lots of options. If you have family & need to stay put, read your local want ads in the paper. Look for opportunities that fit your lifestyle & schedule.

Mostly, I'd look for a position with a facility with low turn over, they will have a happy, stable staff, and will help you get off to a good start.

You have passed the biggest hurdle, please keep us updated on your journey.

Best of luck to you!

Congratulations on passing the NCLEX!

good luck.

I am in the same position as you. Passed NCLEX in december. Still looking for a job.

What state you are in? Do you have any options? Did you have any interviews ?Are you foreign or US schooled?

that sounds like a very good idea. can you find that out indirectly or do you ask the person hiring you or what? for some reason that almost feels like a personal question, like asking the hospital it's weight or something lol...

I am a foreign-educated nurse. I passed the NCLEX-RN for New York State in December with 75 questions. I am still looking for a job. I send application to all hospitals in Manhattan because I live in Long Island City, very close by the city, some hsp in Queens and one in Bronx. Nobody called me for an interview. Is so frustrating, all asked me for hospital experience in US, which I don't have. Now I work in a dental office. Not even the recruitment agencies have anything available for "new grads". If anybody have any suggestion related to job hunting for a nurse in New York city...Thank you
