Employment verification, but omitted a job of application

Here's my situation. I resigned from a new graduate program after 3 months because it was overwhelming to me, wasn't the specialty I originally wanted to be with, and because I had trouble "catching on" in terms of my manager. Both my manager and I thought it'd be better for me to go to a setting that is a bit less acute. This same situation happened to a friend in the previous cohort, except her situation was a bit more pressing (the resign or be fired type of situation). Anyways she got into another new graduate program, omitted it from her application, and was absolutely fine. She as well as many other people were telling me to do the same to have a chance at another hospital (as it looks bad only working at a prestigious hospital for 3 months!)

So I interviewed and got accepted to the new grad program of my dreams in the specialty that I truly wanted! But did omit this prior new grad program from my application. But now they called with the final step which is the background check/employment verification process. The told me to go back 10 years but did say to omit any employment that may not be verifiable on the form. (They are using a 3rd party to verify.) So question is should I still omit the employment on this form? If I put that I worked in this hospital for 3 months, will the hospital know that this is something that I didn't put before or would just the 3rd party see it? Do employment verifications simply verify the employment that YOU yourself put on the paper, or does it uncover where you've ever worked.

I'm sure there are plenty others that have been in this situation because I've read about it a number of times! What do you think is my best move? Because this is my dream hospital and while many of my friends have been able to omit successfully I know this hospital does extensive background checking. Speaking of the same LOL should I be worried about an 100 mph (exact) speeding ticket and is this something I have to disclose? (just to be clear it was 100 exact not a 100+ and NOT wreckless driving, only a 1 point violation).

I would omit non-relevant experience from a resume (what you did). For the employment verification, chances are they can easily find it in an employment background check. That verification is often 3rd party. I tend to list all of the stuff on that form. That is the one that could possibly show 'dishonesty' if you try to hide it. If someone asks about it, can always just say it wasn't a good fit.  Traffic violations should not affect employment (as long as not reckless driving/intoxicated).
