I'm sorry you're feeling that way. Often it's after a tremendous stress that we get sick. Take care of yourself and good luck.

do you need to go to a doctor re: being sick?

Specializes in jack of all trades.

First off if you havent already, please seek the advice of your MD/DO to ensure there is nothing underlying going on. Second are you getting enough rest? Also enough daily exercise and check your diet for the proper nutrition. I myself have chronic fatigue syndrome and was miserable for years until I finally decided the medical field wasnt going to be the one to take control I had to be the one to do so. I make sure I get at least 8 hours sleep a night even if I have to hit the pillow at 7pm doesnt matter, I ensure I eat a good breakfast and several small meals throughout the day. I cut out most preservatives/dyes from my diet and lay low on the carbs. I live by the beach so when weather permits I swim daily as it works all muscles without the stress to my body. I take Noni Juice 3 times daily to boost my immune system (was skeptical of this at first until I tried it for 30 days which overwhelmed me how well I felt afterwards if I consistently take). I also supplement with a B complex. I also use meditation/yoga. I used to be a die-hard athlete and it was so emotional devastating for me that I couldnt even crawl out of bed in the morning due to chronic pain and fatigue. Do some research and find a regime that helps you not only physically but mentally and be consistent with it. But I cant stress enough get yourself checked thoroughly out by your Doc first for a complete physical. I know what it's like to be out of work due to your health which only compounds the problem. Hang in there but sometimes we have to be the ones to take control when medical science just doesnt seem to help.

Yes, by all means , go to a Dr. Best of luck...hang in there.
