Geez Louise. Can I respond before my thread is closed? I understand that the title of my thread may have been a little misleading. I'm well aware that no one here is an MD. I'm not looking for "yes, you're definitely diabetic", maybe just "I've experienced this as well, here's what I went through..."

So back to the topic: Is there anyone here that's experienced this unidentified numbness and tingling? If so, what'd you do? Would I be jumping the gun if I wanted to see a podiatrist or someone in the field of neuropathy?

Again, thanks! :heartbeat

You have already been advised to go see a doctor. However, you would need a referral from your primary care provider, as s/he is a gatekeeper for your insurance company and needs to assess your condition before sending you on to a specialist.
