Hello, this is my first time posting a question on here. I have read many Q and A's but still remain baffled. I have a job interview coming up and have been set two questions and have 10 mins to answer them. They are -

How would you engage the ward team in embedding changes in practice that comply with local and national standards?

How would you engage the ward team in meeting key nursing performance indicators in practice?

In my head they are similar questions,Am I right in thinking that the first question about implementing change, and the second question about maintaining and monitoring ?

Thank you for your time

Hmmm. I kinda thought the second one would have to focus on researching reasons why the unit may not be meeting standard, then developing policy, and then implementing. How would you know what indicators need improving without doing some research first?

I see you that you are a new member. People will be more than willing to help guide you to an answer if you show us what you're thinking of first. Personally it sounds to me they want you to describe how you would implement and encourage staff to comply with changes in policy. Care rounding comes to mind. If you're not familiar with care rounding go google it.
