Committee Meeting, what should I wear

I have a committee meeting tomorrow and can't decide what to wear. I mean I'm so used to wearing scrubs to work that I don't even own your typical professional business attire. What would you wear?

You could wear what is considered "business casual" attire. That is dress pants or nice khakis and a blouse/sweater that you would wear to a good restaurant or something like that. Don't wear anything too sloppy, sexy, or attention-getting. The goal is to blend in, so avoid anything that would make you stand out in a negative way.

Good luck.

i'd just wear scrubs, the meetings i've attended always have people in scrubs at them, because we're working in a hospital. only the office/admin people that never wear scrubs have biz cloths on. you also have the inbetweeners, they wear street cloths with a lab coat over them.

Business casual. Slacks, blouse and/or nice sweater. No sandals, no jeans, no sleeveless tops.

I was on our Clinical Care Council for two years (we served 2 year terms) and the dress code for meeting was business casual (some did come in scrubs, but rarely, since they were all day meetings, so people didn't work in their regular positions on the same day). I always did my best to comply with that (and NEVER wore jeans!) but was amazed at how people got more and more relaxed about the dress code the longer they were into their time. Out came the jeans, sweatshirts, tennis shoes, capris/shorts once the weather got nicer)...it looked so unprofessional.
