Try Consumer Reports.
yeah!! At least I was sent a checklist of what I should look for in a chair, though, at http://www.ncsu.edu/ehs/www99/right/handsMan/office/ergonomic.html#ergonomic:
that's a start. My BroInLaw told my about several "high end" brands, Herman Miller Aeron, the Humanscale Freedom and the Steelcase Leap chairs. He is a property manager in Pasadena and says he'll keep a look out for those going out of business opps. Sometimes he can grab a freebee here and there if the tenant is way behind. He also told me if I didn't want to wait that sit4less.com offers these high priced chairs at a fraction of the cost.
I think I will wait a couple a weeks and see what turns out. Then check out the online deals. Anyone else shop online regularly that has some expertise to share?
tnx x2

Hubby is on the fluffy side.......tall as round sometimes I think.
We went to Office Depot. The salesman took all the chairs down and let him sit as long as he wante in each one. "That's how the little blue chair that could" followed us home...... The price was maybe $60. Maybe a little less.
Feels great to me too. Now to convince him to take another trip to the Office Depot
