I got home from work today to find a note about a certified letter they tried to deliver today... from my former employer. Well, I'm still employed by them, but I'm employed as "available" instead of full-time, so it's not really "former" employer. Anyway, any idea what this could be? As far as I know, I left on a decent note. I mean, they weren't happy about it, but I gave notice, spoke to an assistant manager (my manager was out).
I really have no idea what this is about and since I can't pick it up until tomorrow (MAYBE at my lunch), I'm freaking out!

Did you have health insurance?? They usually mail your cobra forms certified.

That didn't even occur to me. Thanks! I bet that's what it is. I was freaking out. This was the first time I've left a full-time job at all, so I had no idea how it all worked. I bet that's what it is!

if you went to temporary, the hospital will probably send a letter...that's what mine was doing...
Well, available means I'm still employed, but I don't work regularly scheduled hours unless I want to. I won't receive benefits, but I can work when I want to. They can call when they have holes, but I can say no.
I'm working 40hrs a week elsewhere.
