First year nurse here. Currently working outpatient setting OBGYN, and love the 1-1 slower pace of clinic life. I plan on going back to graduate school for APRN within the next 2 years, possibly women's health but also interested in general/family. My goal one day is to work at a university in their health clinic as a student health provider. As an RA in college I came to love interacting and educating students one on one and with specialized programming. I think a job at a university would have great potential for positive impact on health and well being of that population.

The only problem is...how do you score a job like that?? Are they so scarce and all it really takes is "knowing someone"? I can look through the university HR data but there are no student health listings on most sites. Is that a job that people take and never leave?

Any helpful insight? Thanks in advance!
