Specializes in NICU, ICU, PICU, Academia.

Excelsior is accredited in terms of transfer credits and such. They are a well-established and reputable school. The problem their ADN grads run into is that several states (most noticeably California) will not consider you for licensure with an Excelsior degree.

Specializes in Ambulatory Care-Family Medicine.

I am an Excelsior grad. I would recommend you do some research for yourself. Go to the Excelsior section of AllNurses and read through the posts, go to the schools official website and read the nursing catalog, even do a quick google search for the school. Excelsior is not for everyone and if you can't research things on your own then it most likely is not for you as it is based on self-learning as there is not an instructor in front of you to teach you and hold your hand.
