ADN vs. BSN?

Nurses General Nursing

I am about to start on the road to nursing school. Turning 30, have kids, husband, home etc. So I'm going to be going to the local jr college and getting my ADN. How will this be different in the real world than getting a BSN? Will it only affect me if I want to specialize? or go into management? THanks for any answers, I hate not knowing.

You may just want to do a search on this site or any other nursing site. This topic has been talked about to death, and has th potential to create a fire storm.

The bottom line do what is best for you.

You're not going to have any trouble getting a job as a bedside RN in any area with your ADN. Don't worry a bit about it if that is your ultimate goal.
