Hi my school offers bio 149 which is principles of biology or bio 151 which is general biology. Which of theses two classes will be harder to understand and also will both of theses help with the teas test or just general biology?

Your best bet is to either talk to a counselor at your school or see if there is an indicate of a difference in the class description. At the school where I'm takin pre-reqs, the lower level biology is meant as a class for those not continuing on to AP and Micro.

As a general rule I liked to take the classes that had a "meatier" description in the college catalog, or schedule of classes, and that came with more semester hours. Since I had to do the work and attend class anyway, I found it better to have four or five semester hours on my transcript versus only three, when all was said and done. Also, less chance of the specific course not meeting some future requirement down the road if it is the one that is meant for majors or those seeking to pursue "harder" professions over those only seeking minimum credit.
Yes my school used to only offer general bio to get to a&p. They just recently changed it to general bio or principles of bio as a prerequisite for a&p. I just was wondering what would be the better route considering I have not had a bio course in forever.
