Hi everyone! I actually just got off the phone with an advisor for transfer students as I am applying for fall as a transfer. I was told that the Hesi score is 70% and you are now allowed to take it 2 times max for each application but only 4 times max total for life. That the transfer student application is now a lottery with a 70% Hesi score and 3.25 GPA. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone, application date is just around the corner!
Right, the chemistry and bio are not needed for gcu hesi. But my advisor did mention that overall hesi only had to be a 70% now and they just made that change last month. I'm touching base with my advisor again on Monday and also looking forward to the webinar next week for confirmation on what it looks like for transfers although from what I hear it's not bright:/
I'm retaking my HESI on Wednesday because I did better on my HESI at Estrella because I studied the math portion so I know I can do better on my GCU HESI. I'm scared because this one will be the one that counts regardless if the score is worse 😳 but that won't happen! I'm studying everyday!
I just took my HESI today I got an overall of 85.6% so reading these comments made me feel better! I also am transferring from GCC and was awarded the Presidential Scholarship? Curious to see if anyone else has recieved this? My GPA is 3.8 so hopefully this with my Score on the HESI gets me in this Fall! Good luck everyone!!
Oh no this is a new Transfer Program Scholarship they started a couple years ago and it's awarded to anyone that has a 3.5 GPA or higher. I also recieved a letter confirming the scholarship being awarded. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a reply on acceptance into the nursing program?

Hey everyone!!
I am applying to GCU for the Fall Fast Track program at the AT Still campus, but I heard it is super hard to get in as a transfer, especially at the AT Still campus. Wanted to reach out and see if there are any other GCU transfer hopefuls? Wondered if we could compare stats, tips, desired campuses, etc. :) I am just so nervous!
