Gcu fall 2014 hopefuls

Hello Everyone,

I know it is extremely early in the year but, the May deadline will be here before we know it. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there applying for GCU specifically in Tucson but, also in phoenix. I want to hear your experiences with the application process and the new Hesi A2 exam. I am planing on taking my Hesi A2 at the end of March.

I am cautiously optimistic that it means we are in. I wonder if those who didn't get a party in an envelope when they first applied to GCU are getting this now (like maybe it got overlooked..?) And so before they send out nursing school acceptance emails they rushed to send these out. Kind of making sure their ducks are in a row so to speak? I would hate to think they send this out only to tell some of the same people "oh by the way you didn't get into the nursing program". But I think I recall that all other threads in past cohorts have always received their notification by email, with an attachment that says something about Nursing school acceptance. It also comes with info on the immunization and orientation dates etc..

Okay i talk to the adviser lady at the Tucson campus and she said official emails are not going out till next week. So call your mom, call your friends and delete your facebook post. We are still playing the waiting game. GGRRR im so mad and sad .

I never received the party in an envelope...

But I did receive my nursing acceptance letter through email last week for the Albuquerque campus... And that letter has all the important dates on it for health, safety, and immunizations... Financial meeting.. And new student orientation..

I'm feeling left out.. I want the party in snail mail too!!! Ha ha ha ha

Okay I got a party in an envelope today too. So I am glad I am not alone. It wasn't specific to the nursing program just the school so I think they are playing mind games with us, and I think its evil! My counselor said official notifications will be sent out next week. Is anyone else going borderline crazy waiting?????

No its not required, my case is just a little special so they wanted to meet with me.
