Okay I'm going to try this again... The first time I did this I ended up losing the thread before I could even post it
So today I took the HESI at GCU Phoenix if you still haven't taken it here are some good hints: Don't study the Bio and Chem part because it is not required so you will waste time like I did lol.. Don't worry about printing out receipt to bring with you as long as you have a screen shot of approval or email confirmation you are good! Oh and most importantly they let you use a calculator on the computer :/ I realized this after I had already taken the Math part. Although I did get a 95% in that section so doing everything by hand wasn't that bad after all just time consuming like no other! Make sure to study up on your ratios and proportions and you should be good!!
Okay now for a couple quick question... If you took HESI what was your overall score? Is this the Score they focus on when determining acceptance? Has anyone talked to their advisor after taking HESI? I know they say there is not a minimum score but there were a few Students in their doing it for the second time...Overall I got 85.6% hopefully this is good enough! So if anyone has feedback or answers I would appreciate it!!

I just came back from taking the Hesi. I got a 92.8 average. I starter with A&P because it was the one I was most afraid of, lol! I ended up scoring a 100% on that one and no less than a 90 in all the others. I'm quite happy with the results but I am exhausted. I had to drive almost two hours one way.

I'm confused as to why some people have to take science portions of the HESI and some don't. I was told that when I study, not to go over any science related portions because the test is only english and math. Did they change the format at the exam?

Hey How was the vocabulary portion? What kind of vocabulary words did you get on the exam? Was it from the book?

Vocabulary was one of the easiest sections on the test. If you review the words in the study guides you will do great!
