GCU ABSN 2023

Thought I'd start a thread for Grand Canyon University ABSN 2023 potentials. I am currently finishing up Applied Nutrition through study.com and will be taking Microbiology. After that I have Christian Worldview and Applied Pathophysiology. Hope to knock all these out and the HESI so I can start the core nursing classes in Spring or Summer 2023. Anyone else in the same boat?

Sooo refreshing to hear!! I’m terrified of the micro, I also needing A&P so planning on doing that one too! Hoping I can get them done so I can get into Spring! If not fall start is OK with me.

Last question, how are the proctored exams? All online right? Does someone watch you through your camera ?

Hi! I plan on starting in vegas this Summer and I'm currently taking patho at GCU... anyone have any tips for this class? LOL

Does anyone know how many days a week you are in class/clinicals?

Yes I was looking into study.com also. I am new to it and don't know much. It's it better than the community college? easier? harder?

Hi! I'm in the program right now and for level 1 u have lab once a week, and then u have two SIM lab days at campus as well, and then u have 4 clinicals in one month! But in level 2 you have more!

I am hoping to start Fall 2023. Where you able to start in May or will you start in September?
