Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing Spring 2018 ABSN

Published

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else has applied to gghson for spring 2018 ABSN.

I was able to find my cumulative gpa but they didn't calculate my science core gpa.

Can you guys still see your NursingCAS application? When I log in now it does not show my previous application.

Jacklin, nope. Just checked.

I logged into NursingCAS a while ago and I couldn't see my previous application either, it only lets you do a new one I guess. In regards to the science GPA, I got mine when I went to the counselor at TT and they gave me a course evaluation with the classes that applied to the ABSN program, the cumulative and science GPAs. But Breytiful is right, you can check yours gpa with the Mercer calculator, and it worked fine for me.

If you clicked the NursingCAS link it routs you to the 2018 cycle.

This should take you to the 2017 cycle.

Error

I have figured this out. The NursingCAS link that used to link to 2017 now links to 2018 cycle. If you try nursingcas2017.liaisoncas.com you will see your 2017 application. Hope this helps.

For the folks living in El Paso now, can you give me an idea about how bad (or good) El Paso traffic is? What are the safer areas, especially near the Tech Tech SON?

I grew up by the chamizal when I was little it's not far from T.T. SON but I ended up moving to the northeast by magnetic and Alabama, it's a very nice area. Other nice areas you might want to look into are the west side and the east side. Traffic in El Paso isn't to bad, but it also depends on where you live, or where you are coming from. I live in San Antonio right now and I miss El Paso traffic.:( In general I think leaving 20 minutes earlier from any area would give you more then enough time.

I guess it depends on where you live now, I don't think El Paso's traffic is that bad compared to bigger cities, but we do have a lot of construction sites ALL.THE.TIME. In regards to housing, there are some apartments around GGHSON that are around $650, I really don't know how safe they are but it can't be that bad if they're close to the University Medical Center and the Children's Hospital. I hope that helps.
