Hi there, I'm a current student at GGHSON, KNOW YOUR ANATOMY forwards and backwards. Biology is not very in depth, but the basics but the anatomy portion will be looked at heavily as part of your entry into the program.

Also some advice for your interview, own up to any mistakes or low grades. They really don't like excuses, the expect you to take responsibility for your actions and have a plan to better yourself from that mistake. Also if they ask why you want to be a nurse, don't say because I want to help people. This is your last and only chance you have to impress them and really show them who you are, so take full advantage of it.

What do you mean by know your anatomy? Do they ask any medical related questions at the interview, or is it in relation to the stats and hesi scores? How did you prepared for the interview?

Congrats everyone!! I got an invitation letter as well. I am super excited. I have been doing my pre-reqs at EPCC and I am taking patho chem and nutrition this semester. Has anyone been given tips or pointers on what to expect from the interview? Is there anything else that we are supposed to be doing to prepare for [crossed fingers] being accepted. I am guessing we don't do a background check until we are actually accepted, but immunizations or anything else of that sort? Just trying to ease my nerves, so much waiting!! Congrats again everyone!

I am also very nervous/excited! I'm also taking patho at Epcc this semester. I have been trying to see how to prepare for the interview as well, this month is going by slow now! I think all of the rest comes with being accepted. Congrats!
