Post op cholysystectomy pain

  1. I have a question regarding post operative pain. I had a cholysystectomy three weeks ago robotically through a single incision near my belly button. HIDA scan 6% and constant pain, it was chronically inflamed according to patho. I still have some nausea and dizziness that my doctor thinks is not due to this and should see an ENT. I also have constant discomfort in my upper epigastric region directly under my sternum. It's a constant dull ache. The fact that it's chronic is what makes it so bad. Nothing I do seems to make it better or worse. Surgeon thinks I should be feeling amazing right now. What's your opinions? Am I experiencing pretty normal pains for three weeks post op or not? Also, what is the typical amount of time to feel "normal"?

My experiences post-op can not be expected to be your experiences post-op. Another reason why you need to communicate with your healthcare providers.
