So I've been at my job less than 3 months and I'm already injured. Tweaked my back and after I went to bed, realized I couldn't move. Had to scream upstairs from my bed for my mom to come help me (her cell was off). The Drs tell me it's muscular/mechanical but I can't take any of the three muscle relaxers they prescribed due to interactions with other prescriptions I'm on. Dr in ER gave me 10 pills of Vicodin which I hate taking so I still have 5 left after 3 weeks. Finally got a referral to PT but was told to stay laying down and walk every other hour. I have zero income which means I can't save for nursing school. I like being busy and I feel like a lump. So frustrated. Thanks for listening!
*hugs* sometimes life throws us hurdles. Right now you just have to take care of yourself. I know it is frustrating but hopefully with time you will heal and will be able to resume work and school. Best wishes.
