I would like to ask about the tuition and what’s the schedule like .. I have so many questions to ask but let me just go slow ..

Specializes in Registered Nurse ASN.

So tuition is usually around 1500 to 2000 for the semester if you are only taking the nursing classes.  We have 9 hours coming up in fall and the tuition was 1600 something.

it will be hard to tell you about the schedule since when we went we were taking classes via Zoom for lecture and I think our clinical schedule was cut down too.

But for us we had like 5 clinical days.  They were shorter clinicals 6 hours 8 hours and a 10 hour.

We also had skill labs and sim labs.  I want to say there were 3 sim labs and 3 or 4 skill labs.  You get to schedule these on the days and times that work best for you.  Skill labs will have a practice day and a check off day but practice day and sim labs typically are only a half day.

there are 5 tests for the program 4 regular tests and one final that is cumulative.

lecture schedule is typically 1 day a week but there were some weeks we had days.

hope that helps!

Thanks sheila for your update .. please what skills do we need to perfect before the keys to success workshop? Cos it’s stated in the packet that we will be require to demonstrate our skills as a CNA ..

They don’t release the point system sheet unfortunately. But if you go into the nursing FAQ on their website you can find some information. I wish they did though!

It would be nice if you can create facebook account for our set  .. as I’ve seen a lot of accepted students on there  ..

we demonstrated basic vS (BP, Pulse, Resp, ETC) during our first check off for health assessment.

They did not require us to show any skills at keys to success.  It was really just a demonstration of how to use our books and access them, loads of questions and such many speakers, it was overwhelming but really fun.

Hello, I was thinking of applying here next year. However do they really require you to have your CNA license before you can apply? I work a PCA right now but don't have my license.
