FY 2022 AF & Navy packets

Just curious who has packets in for Air Force or Navy for the upcoming boards in October  and how your processes are going. 
 

I have a packet in with both services, hoping to get a coveted OR slot since they are very few and far between. I passed MEPS in May and am now just twiddling my thumbs until I hear what’s next. 
 

Has anyone heard the numbers of billets opened for nurses in 2022?

Yes just enjoy the holiday and the season. We really wanted to know the result soon so that we can make a plan for the next year 2021 either we go for nurse traveling, back to school, and be in the Military.

My recruiter said today is a “down” day so doubt we will hear anything today ?

Second time applying for AF ER and an impatiently waiting this go around. I also don't expect selections to be posted until after the holidays, but for once I would like to surprised and results posted on time.

Hopefully they will release this week! I am anxiously waiting! If you don’t mind me asking, what happened the first time you applied?

I started the application process the first week of August last year in hopes of getting into the October boards but I wasn't able to get my packet submitted until the January boards. The day before my nurse interview my recruiter finally told me I was applying as an alternate since all the ER spots were filled with the October board applicants. Needless to say, no alternates were needed last fiscal year. I made sure to have all my stuff submitted and updated for the October boards this year.
