Future Spring 08 El Centro Students-Acceptance Letters????

Anyone who has applied to el centro nursing program for spring 08...has anyone gotten an acceptance letter yet???

I took my app. to Kanora on monday, the end of the filing period is august 31. You won't get a letter until october 15th I believe. When did you send yours? If you don't mind me asking...do you have all of your co requisites done? I still need micro, just wandering where I stand. Good luck.

I applied sometime in July...so I wonder if that makes a difference...yeah I have my coreqs done (I finish micro not too long ago)..I hope we both get in...

They have to wait until all of the applications are in to choose who gets into the program, so they send out the letters if you get in in october. When did you take HPRS?

Actually I haven't taken that yet...I just have my prereqs done and my coreqs...when did you take it?

You had to have taken it before applying because it is now a prerequisite. This is the first semester that it is a prerequisite, the only reason I knew about the class is because I went to an information session in april or may. You should go down and talk with Kanora. I just finished the class last week, I was going to take micro this summer but I had to take it instead.

thanks I should probably go do that...I just thought it was a propose prereq...when I talked to her on the phone she just told me about the four that are on the website.

I am going to apply at Brookhaven but have to get the chem 1405 out of the way this fall. I am wondering if the HESI A2 test had all the A&P and medical terminology and such on it or was it just the math, reading, grammer etc? I figure all of Dallas County would be the same. ;)Thanks in advance

The test consisted of: A&P, Biology, Chemisty, Math, and a reading section. No problem...good luck

Iam applying for spring 08, I am turning in my application this week, I am really nervous about it though.I took my Hprs class in spring 07 but what sucks about it is that if i dont get in i have to re take the class again.That's b/c its only good for a year or thats what i was told in the info session.Do any of you guys know wheb they are opening the new nursing campus at El Centro, its across the street around the West End area?

Hello all,

I also applied for the Spring 08 at El Centro. Has anyone heard whether or not the HPRS 1204 is definitely a required pre-req. Nice to meet everyone. Good Luck to all.

Hey there...

I have NOT heard that HPRS 1204 is a definite pre-req. My understanding is that it is a preposed pre-req. I haven't taken it yet and I have already applied for Spring 08. Have you gotten a letter yet? All this waiting is driving me crazy LOL
