Fun School Nurse stickers!

Published

Wanted to share a tip...my principal asked me about getting some "head injury" stickers for the kids with bumps to the head that are not severe, but we need to keep an eye on. I had never heard of them. He told me a principal at another school shared it with him. They are cute stickers that say "please watch me: I bumped my head!" I told him I would research it and get back with him.

I found a company called SmileMakers, a subsidiary (sp?) of Staples, that carried them. I ordered a roll of 100, plus 3 different styles of school nurse related stickers, plus a roll of "caught being good" stickers. I also got a dispenser that fits 5 rolls. It ended up being about $50 and my principal reimbursed me for them :)

I had never heard of these, so it might be something you all already know about or use, but if not I thought I would share. You might be able to get your principal to kick in for them. I am hitting him up for $$ for crackers next, for the kids who don't eat breakfast!

Calling beforehand was a thought of mine also, but my supervisor tends to be really conservative, so I will probably just return them and not worry about it. I don't want word to get back to her down the road that I'm using them (even with calling) after she said not to.
