Hey guys, does anyone know of any nice floors to work on in any philly or surrounding suburb hospitals? Like where the nurses are really warm and friendly and supportive??

hmmm this is a tough one. Mercy fitzgerald in upper darby is very lovely hospital and clean. I am concerned that they are closing down a few units, which is not a good sign. Delware County Memorial hosp might be an excellent choice. Childrens hosp of philadelphia has a good rep but not upenn(excellent in serv but not for employment).
thanks mslady06! anybody else have more suggestions?? ide really appreciate it. I know its pretty tough to find a diamond in the rough place to work but i ask because in the icu i work in right now, the people are so unfriendly and look down upon you if you need any help. I'm a new grad and the staff say they are there to help and answer any questions, but its all lies. Ideally it would be great to work in a supportive environment, just finding it is the hard part.

Delaware County Memorial is a great place to work-good pay and benefits, a nice group of people to work with. I've worked there for six years, and have no desire to leave.

how far out are you talking about for suburbs? Doylestown Hospital and Grand View Hospital are great places to work. The only downfall for Grand View is that its VERY VERY hard to get a job there. I worked at DH and really liked it there. (both in bucks county)
for the suburbs i was thinking like montgomery county or chester county. Something thats like a 30min ish commute from manayunk. I'm definitly going to look into these hospitals to see if they're hiring.
