FTCC (Forsyth Tech) Spring 21

Is there anyone applying for the Spring 2021 program at Forsyth Tech? If so, where do you stand? Have you had a MAR review, have you taken the TEAS?

I was trying to see if the rest of the email gave any clue as to if I got in or not. But I am just overthinking it like always. Ahhh

I was reading the replies for another class before us on this forum and apparently all the ones that received the letters in bulk like a lot of us did, did actually get in. I am not trying to give anyone false hope, including myself1

Hi futurewhitecoatnp! I am from the Spring2020 forum. In previous semesters they sent out acceptance emails first, then alternate, then they sent emails out to those who did not get in. Hope that answered your question. Stay positive!!

Thank you so much! That gives me so much hope! I know it was a honest mistake! How are you doing in the program? Any tips?

You’re very welcome. Nursing school is exciting! You will all learn a lot of skills and a lot of information! But let me say this, it will be overwhelming. I’m halfway through 3rd semester and it’s still overwhelming. Start out organized and stay organized. Figure out how you learn best, get a planner, utilize it, and do not procrastinate. Also, lean on each other. You are all there to become amazing nurses. Get through it TOGETHER. And always remember that you CAN do this and that you all WILL be nurses. Nothing worth having comes easy but this will be worth it! You all will be great nurses.  Continue to be positive. Positivity is what’s going to help push you all through this.

Same! But it’s hard I know a person who applied but didn’t get an email.

Your words are so kind and encouraging. Can I bother you with one last thing? Do you recommend any must have supplies? I know I am a bit ahead of myself but I am a huge planner and suffer with OCD a bit haha

If your email read like ours, I'm thinking it's an acceptance letter. Other wise, why would they say respond by the deadline. It's nerves, I'm sure you're good! Congrats!

I was thinking the same about the wording too! But I was scared to get my hopes up! Ahhh! If that’s the case, thank you! Congrats to you and everyone here too!
