Just starting this thread up! This is for anyone planning on applying to FSW in the fall for Spring 2019 at FSW.

I'm currently finishing up my pre-reqs this summer 2018 term and will be taking the TEAS in the fall as well as applying to the program at the Lee Campus.

Reply back with,

What campus you are planning on applying to?

What classes you are trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format you will be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam or how did you do?

Excited to hear from you guys and to help each other out!

Hey everyone!!

I'm planning on applying for the spring anew program. Lee will be my first choice. I have completed all my prereqs and will be taking the TEAS in Sept.

Any tips on how to study for the TEAS?

Take the practice exams! They are set up exactly like the the actual exam, and some of the questions from the practice exams made it on to the real exam. But taking those will let you know what areas you need to focus your studying on. There is no need to study material you are already strong in.

I watched ALL of CrashCourse Anatomy and Physiology on YouTube, and some of the bio and chemistry vids. The math section is pretty straight forward. Nothing complicated there. Know your sentence structures and grammar for the English portion.

Don't stress too much. Go in relaxed and confident and you'll do fine.

Hi, I'm a student about to start in the Fall at Lee ANEW and I studied for the TEAS using the yellow 6th edition book. I also paid for a practice exam online at the ATI website! I paid for the TEAS Mastery app on my phone that has over 1,000 questions on it. It helped me a lot!

Hi all,

I am currently an LPN who will be applying for Spring semester. Does anyone know when they release the statistics for Fall 2018 applicants?

campus you are planning on applying to? All three but Lee as my first choice.

What classes you are trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct? I have 7 out of 9 classes completed. All the required ones I am done with though, so will just be finishing Nutrition and Humanities this fall.

What program schedule format you will be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)? Either or I am okay with.

Did you take the TEAS VI exam or how did you do? I did take it, however; didn't score as high as I want to so I will be retaking it before application deadline.

I have a 3.7 GPA on all required courses for applying so I am hoping that helps me out if I don't score as high on TEAS, I am a horrible test taker.

I applied to the Charlotte and Lee campuses, with Charlotte being my #1 choice. I prefer traditional, but I listed ANEW as an option.

My total points were 83. I scored 92.0% on my TEaS and applied with a 3.42 GPA, I believe. I have completed 7 of 9 courses. Taking DEP 2004, HUM 2211 and PHI 2010 this fall. I plan on continuing into the BSN after I complete the ASN program, so the extra humanities will be needed.

Best of luck to you, Craftynurse!

I'm curious to see the profile for the fall 2018 admission.

I was looking online and the total points for spring 2017 were pretty low.

Same! Spring 2018 didn't look super competitive, which is normal for Soring from what I've heard. But ya never know.

I've heard the same. I heard it was easier to get accepted in spring vs the fall. I hope we all make it í ½í¹í ¼í¿¼

]Hello everyone I got accepted into Spring 2018 Lee Traditional program and since then I have decided that nursing is not for me unfortunately. I have all the books you would need for the nursing program. Not the ATI access code but just the four books. If anyone wants them let me know and I'll sell them to you for cheaper than what I paid which was like a little over 900 dollars if I remember correctly for the bundle. Let me know!! :)
