Who is planning to enroll in the nursing program for Spring 2016?
So who is joining me? It's going to be a long process and I simply can not wait to get into the nursing program.
I hope to apply into Lee and get. I haven't taken my HESI yet out of nerves, but have to swallow that pill soon in order to apply.
I definitely feel that way too!..I got an email the other day and she said she couldn't read my HESI score. I don't know why but I was panicking inside but I sent her a copy and everything was good. Phew! lolhopefully the first week of November!
Oh wow that is stressful! I didn't have any problems with my score sheet. I would've flipped out. The only issue I had was about a week before I completed the online application, I wanted to make sure that I calculated my scores correctly, so I went to regular advising and they tried to tell me I don't get credit for some of my AP classes from high school. It was so stressful but I went to a nursing advisor (had to wait hours) and she said that I definitely get credit lol and that the other advisor was completely wrong. I went from so happy to so upset to so happy in a matter of hours lol. How many points do you guys have?Only if you feel comfortable sharing! My overall points were 93, I was very happy with that. The HESI really does make you or break you.

I was also wondering if they calculate it like they do on that excel sheet that we do it. It's pretty stressful! But ultimately I have a total of 86 points without completing all my pre-reqs. I hope that's good enough! Lol but yay for you! 93 points is really good (: do you have all your pre-reqs completed?
I got the same email, thankfully I was right on campus and sandy allowed me to print it at her office. She is so sweet! But they are definitely getting the process going, so yes maybe the first of November, that would be nice! :) I got so nervous about them not being able to see my HESI score sheet, but it happened to a lot of applicants I guess!
Just knowing that they have started the process makes me so nervous/excited. Its so crazy how far away it all seemed when I first decided I wanted to do nursing. I'm so happy to be finally in this position. So many people tell me that nursing school is so hard but so worth it. I'm so ready for my turn, finally!

I do have them all completed. 86 is amazing as well! Especially for not having all of yours done! I'm sure you will get in. I've heard of people getting in to the one that just started in fall with 76 points, to lee campus at that. I've heard spring is even less competitive. I'm sure we will both be just fine. :)

I know I'm crazy nervous because they could easily make a mistake and like 2 points or 3 make a huge difference! So I'm pretty much worried about how they calculate the points. But yes I have heard the same thing but I am soooooo ready for this!! It'll feel good if we get in, just getting in is such a huge accomplishment !

That's awesome! I'm working on the rest of mine this semester (: glad I'm getting them done so if I do get in, it's one less thing to worry about. But yeah in the back of my mind I think I'll get in but there's still anxiety cus it's so crazy to get in !! Haha

It is a huge accomplishment! Believe me when I say I will be celebrating like never before upon acceptance lol as for the points calculations go, I've heard that they meticulously check and recheck. That's why the process is so long, it frustrating but I'd rather them be efficient!
I wonder how many applicants there were... I'm just curious I know last semester there were close to 400 (many whom had horrible points, unqualified, etc. so no need to worry)
Also, I'm so bummed about the fact that our scrubs are all white that's hands down the worst possible color choice lol.

I will too! I'm glad to hear that they recheck points. That is actually pretty comforting. I agree though, white scrubs aren't the best color, I also heard they were pretty see through

Oh they are...I'm sure they won't stay completely white. Probably after our first clinical at gulf coast village we will acquire some stains. Lol But that's what bleach is for! I will just be happy to get into the program. I have a friend in now & she says all the instructors are amazing.

I'm pretty sure they'll let us know it goes. If you go through the Fall 2015 thread, they got packets and such.
