Fsw Fall 2017

Published

Hi everyone! This might be soon but I was wondering if anyone was gearing up to apply to the fall 2017 nursing program. I wanted to know what classes everyone has left and maybe we can study for the teas together! We can also boost each other up to make sure we all can get in! Good luck! Can't wait to hear from everyone!

Hi everyone! I plan on applying for Fall 2017 as well. I have taken A&P 1, Comp 1, Psy2012, and I am taking Stats, Human Growth, a Humanities, and A&P 2 in spring 2017. I wanna stat studying for the TEAS now so that I have time to retake if needed, any advice?

Hi everyone

I'm applying for fall 2017 at fort Myers campus . I am going to take the teas soon because I did applied for Rasmussen college too. Hope anyone know some information about Rasmussen college . Good luck

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently finishing my last prerequisite class for FSW's Fall 2017 Nursing program.

I'm an LPN so the admission worksheet is a lot more forgiving and the Teas is truly the make it or break it factor.

My GPA is pretty average (3.15), however I have left myself plenty of time to retake the TEAS if I don't get the 82-91 that I've been studying so hard to earn. I followed most of the 2016 spring and fall FSW threads on here and I'm pretty surprised that there isn't more commentary with the deadline being in May, but that just means we all have a better chance of making it in the program!

I will post an update with my Teas scores and my projected points factoring my A&P2 class.

I Look forward to chatting with you all! :nurse:

Hey Everyone!

I just finished my TEAS today and scored 86.0%! I am beyond excited. I'm currently taking A&P2 which is my last prerequisite so my points will be at least 74 but possibly 78 if I can pull off an A for this last class. I also have my LPN so the point system is more forgiving.

Looking forward to some new responses on here!

How was the TEAS test and do you have any pointers.

The Teas was doable...I studied for 2 months using the ATI manual and the Mometrix manual. If you study well and focus on one question at a time then you will be successful. I think if you look at the entire test as a whole then it becomes overwhelming.

I took my TEAS this morning and got a 72. Not very competitive but I hope I can get in. I have all my prerequisites completed and also have a 3.90 gpa. I used the ATI manual, purchased practice test A from the ATI website and also watched numerous YouTube videos. I've been following the other threads and occasionally come back to this one before deciding to create an account. Good luck to everyone!

Ok, I finally created an account. I have been lurking for a while. I will be taking my TEAS this Thursday, Im finishing my last 2 prereqs this semester, and have a 3.57 GPA. Im a nervous wreck right now!

Hi everybody! I'm also applying for the fall at the Fort Myers campus. I've finished all prerequisites with a 3.9 GPA and I scored an 86 on the TEAS. It added up to 85 points on the tally sheet I believe. The application opens tomorrow...good luck everyone :)

Hey everybody. I'm surprised there aren't more comments. I'm applying to the Fort Myers campus. I took the teas this morning and scored an 85. If I finish this semester how I am currently I'll be 2 prereqs short with a 4.0 gpa so applying hopefully with around 84 points. Good luck everyone

Congrats! You'll get in! They just accepted 24 for the summer program so you should see more comments for Fall soon!

I feel like fall is a little more competitive. I'm just anxious
