FSW Fall 2015

Published

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

Only 3 forms are due by the 9th...all the others are not due until august 7th...you have time...you can print and upload the acceptace letter and email it back...the other 2 have to be taken into the office

It's not quite a physical, so I'm not sure what to ask for when I call places. They don't want many of the tasks performed in a basic physical, but the health dept near me says they don't have a physician who can sign it? I'm hoping that I can go and show them the form and they can tell me what I may need. Does anyone know if we can go to two places to get this completed, or only one facility??

You can go to your primary care...they only have to sign it..you fill out the rest..its not a physical, its a heath report

Kat, did your the doctor charge you for your "health report?"

I'm still trying to find the cheapest way to go about this. :sniff:

Thats what ive gotten too...pricey

It appears as though some students have been allowed to register for classes. They should allow everyone to do so all at once instead of trickling access to registration to make it fair. I hope they allow us to register soon.

And did you get the titers done? I don't have a PCP and lee convenient care told me on order to get the titers I have to get a physical.

No, only for my regular visit....lol, i stamped his office info, i filled it out and he signed it.....you might be able to have a chiropractor fill it out for $25...if you work for a dr, he could sign it aswell

I worked for lee back in 2005, the employee heath department had it....also a previsous school could have the info...you have to have this info for HS aswell....check with them....a pregnancy could have needed you to do it aswell....call all options possible...i had to

I still have to get my titer(s) along with the HEP A vaccine. Can't wait to get this all done with. Thank god I already got my influenza shot. Does anyone know if we need to make copies of all our vaccination records and turn them in too or will those just be uploaded to CertifiedProfile.com only?

Has anyone heard of Professor James John Coogan, if so is he a good professor? For the Fundamentals of Nursing-Practrium there are several professors we can choose from.

My degree changed to Nursing as well. :)

Are nursing shoes also sold at Hamiltons?
