Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.
Who is joining me next fall in nursing?
I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.
I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.
Well I got my grants already. I got 3 already. They tell you the max money you have available if you are full time. But since we are part time we are going to be cut back. Im going to have 10 credits with my a&p 2. I will see if I take another easy credit like art for my humanities so I can be full time. But if I do part time then I will not receive my full grants.

I could really use help getting money for school. I'm paying out of pocket as of right now. How did you acquire your grants?

FAFSA. https://fafsa.ed.gov Go to financial aid office for more information. If you dont have a previous bachelor degree then you are eligible if you qualify. It does go by your income as well.
Hey y'all congrats on getting in! I am currently in my third semester of the program (peds/ob). I have all the fundamentals books and would love to sell them for discounted price! Please let me know if any of you are interested! Also, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
Thanks,
Cassandra
If you could email me the list of what you have and prices I would be interested. [email protected]
thank you
I love my Littmann Cadiology III Stethoscope. I've had it for 6 years so far...since I was in LPN school and have been using it for work and it is still my fav. I also have a Littmann Lightweight II SE. The difference is in the acoustic quality. The cardiology III is rated at an acoustic quality of 9 and the Lightweight SE acoustic quality is rated at a 6 and I'd have to say that I agree. The lightweight is a little lighter than the Caridology but not by too much. Both are great stethoscopes and do the job...I have slightly bad hearing so I prefer the Cardiology III.
I probably would've bought the III after reading this, if I hadn't already purchased the the lightweight. I kept reading reviews about the pros and cons for each.

Kat, are you talking about a Pell grant or did you also get another grant? Just curious because I'm still waiting to see if i qualify for any additional funds other than Pell grant.
