FSCJ Summer 2016

Hi everybody! This is my first time on this site and I'm not sure I know what I'm doing yet! I'm also applying for FSCJs summer term. I've completed all my pre-reqs as well as taken the Hesi. Does anybody know around the median range of the accepted scores? Summer will be a harder term to get in with limited seating so good luck to all the hopefuls!!!

I read the 2015 summer thread and someone said that the cut off was 183.9 pts.

I'll be applying for summer 2016 with 195.6 pts. GL everyone!

Thank you for the info! If I calculated my points correctly I will be applying with 201.5 points. I feel slightly better now. This is definitely nerve racking!

I applied for the Spring term thinking my points were 181.5 but they ended up being 187.5. I am retaking the HESI on 11/25 to see if I can increase my scores for the Biology and Anatomy sections. I bombed those. Once I retake it I will post what my new scores are.

Hello, everyone! I had also applied for Spring 2015 and missed getting in by just over 2 points. So frustrating!! But, I'm determined to try again. I've registered to re-take the HESI on Nov 30th. I'll also be getting additional points from my work experience as a CNA (or hoping so, at least!). Good luck to everyone and I'll also post my scores once I'm done. :)

Hey guys! I applied for the spring but missed it by 3.8 points (cut off was 188.6). I have decided to NOT re take the hesi at this time, but I am applying for the summer with my current scores. I just turned my stuff in today. Good luck to everyone. Here goes another very long wait!

Awww sorry to hear that. Good luck this time around! Do you remember how long the wait is to receive a yes or no on acceptance? Shoot in it even sure if I filled the application out correctly!

It took us about 9ish weeks to get our letters. And don't worry when you drop it off the front desk girl is awesome and will check it over for you!

You were so close! I just recently ran into a dilemma. I really want to apply for Summer but I would have to make a really good grade on the HESI to improve my score (because I got C's in 3 of my pre reqs). But since they accept less people in Summer, I may have a better chance. But I also want to re take my anatomy classes but I can't do that at FSCJ so I'd have to go somewhere else and re take them in the spring. So that puts me at applying for Fall 2016 (I don't mind days). I am also applying for Fall at UNF even though their program is very competitive. I just want to see if I have a chance anywhere. So I will probably apply for both, and just hope for the best. I just don't want to re take the classes for nothing! Even though I'm going to need the brush up anyway!!

I don't remember my GPA. It wasn't terrible. My hesi score was a 75% so not that great.

I got a 79.50% on the HESI and have a 3.47 GPA I'm not sure that I'll get in this time. I was just curios as to the average scores and GPA of those that were accepted into the program.
